Fitness & Wellness All-Access Class Policies

1. Only current, fees-paid UGA students or Ramsey Center members age 18 and older are eligible to register for fitness and wellness classes. 

2. The All Access, Group Fitness, Water, Cycle, and Mind/Body passes are valid through the semester of purchase.  The 10-Class Pass is valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

3. An assumption of risk form MUST be signed before participating. It is strongly recommended that men over the age of 45 and women over the age of 55 receive medical clearance FROM their physician before participating in any class.

4. No refunds are given for fitness class passes. 

5. All participants must have a Fitness & Wellness pass.

6. Fitness class passes are nontransferable. Improperly used cards will be confiscated and destroyed. Memberships may be revoked for repeated offenses.

7. Entry is on a first come, first serve basis. Each class is subject to max enrollment, which varies depending on class format, to provide the safest environment possible. Once the max number have entered the class, the class will then be closed.

8. Members may enter an open class until 10 minutes after start time. After 10 minutes or the end of the warm-up period, the class is closed to prevent injuries.

9. Members should line up outside the designated entry door. Members may not enter aerobics room until instructed by the door monitor.

10. Recreational Sports reserves the right to adjust the schedule when necessary.

11. At minimum a sports bra and shorts must be worn to attend fitness classes.

12. If the National Weather Service issues a Tornado Warning, all fitness classes, personal training sessions, and any other fitness program will be cancelled effective immediately. Fitness activities will resume their scheduled times one hour after the Tornado Warning has been lifted.

 

Instructional Class Policies

1. Only current, fees-paid UGA students or Ramsey Center members age 18 and older are eligible to register for fitness and wellness classes.

3. Full refunds minus a $15 processing fee are available up to one week after the original purchase date for the instructional class. No refunds are granted for two weeks following the beginning of the class session. If a medical condition arises that precludes completion of a class, refunds are pro-rated based upon the class start date.

4. All participants must have an Instructional Pass. No 1 or 10-Class Passes are permitted.
