Parents Leadership Counsil Program Scholarships
Need-based Program Scholarships, provided by the UGA Parent’s Leadership Council, support the well-being of UGA students through the reduction of financial barriers to participation in Recreational Sports programs.

Scholarships are available to current UGA students who have completed their FAFSA and meet need-based qualifications through the Office of Financial Aid. The scholarship program functions as a discount/credit. Scholarships are available until all funds have been distributed.
- Competitive Sports: full fee waivers for Unlimited Play Pass
- Fitness & Wellness: full fee waiver for Unlimited Group Fitness Pass, Session 1 & 2 of Small Group Training, OR Personal Training (Student Kickstarter – free consult + 3 sessions only)
- Outdoor Recreation: discounted trip registration

Competitive Sports Application – Fall 2025 applications will open on 8/1 and will be accepted on a rolling basis (deadlines 9/1 & 11/13)
Fitness & Wellness Application – Spring 2026 application will re-open 12/1 through 1/7
Outdoor Recreation Application – Spring 2026 applications currently accepted on rolling basis, priority deadline 11/26 (Ski Trip) & 1/14 (all other trips)
If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be contacted via email following the deadline. Please be patient as we receive a large volume of applications.
- Submit your scholarship application.
- You will be notified via email if you have been awarded a scholarship.
- Use your UGA login on the Rec Sport Shop to find an activity you want to join.
- Do NOT purchase anything, we cannot issue refunds.
- Awards are provided as a promo code for use at checkout and expire at the end of the semester.
- You must be a Ramsey member (assessed your ‘Rec and Facility Fee’ on Athena) to be able to use your promo code.
- Promo codes are strictly personal and can only be used by the students to whom they were awarded.
- Policy violations include sharing your code, using the code for a program not specified in the application.
- Receiving a scholarship does not guarantee a space in the desired program. Please register as soon as you receive your promo code.
