Spend the weekend backpacking through the Cohutta Wilderness with the ORC. You will experience some of North Georgia's most lush, remote forests in the midst of Autumn, so get ready for some spectacular Fall colors! We will also encounter waterfalls and follow along a winding river. Come prepared to step on rocks and climb to some scenic heights!

Join the ORC and take advantage of the opportunity to explore a vertical cave! Learn how to rappel with us during the pre-trip meeting, so that you can descend into the depths of an amazing cave. No prior knowledge necessary. You will explore caverns and marvel at the incredible cave formations on the walls, floors and ceilings. The pre-trip meeting is mandatory.

Dive into a scenic Fall adventure along the Pinhoti Trail! The Pinhoti Trail was established in 1977, traversing Alabama and Georgia's beautiful mountains. Along this 11.4-mile loop trail, we will cross for rocky top peaks, streams, and even wreckage from a plane crash! Backpacking aside, you will learn many new skills to prepare yourself for future outdoor adventures.

Come spend a weekend in Cloudland Canyon State Park and bask in beautiful Fall colors! The park is consistently ranked as one of Georgia’s best state parks and offers some of the best hiking in the state. We’ll spend the day exploring the park’s epic canyon walls and towering waterfalls before setting up camp and having an awesome dinner around the campfire.

Join us for an exciting introduction to the popular sport of fly fishing! Whether it is your first time fishing or 100th day on the water, this course is meant to refresh and teach those interested in fly fishing. We will have a casting clinic at Lake Herrick and want to open the door to anyone and everyone interested. Rods will be provided but bring your own if you'd like!

This is a challenging yet rewarding hike, as there are many scenic viewpoints along the trail at locations such as Black Balsam Knob and Pilot Mountain. Sand Rock is a beautiful craggy place on a bluff overlooking Lake Weiss in Alabama. We will be car camping and day hiking down trails to find the perfect climbs. Climbing routes range from challenging technical moves to smooth relaxed routes you can take your time on. At the top of each route you get to enjoy the best views north Alabama has to offer. Whether you are an experienced climber or first-timer, this is the trip for you!
