Don’t miss the opportunity to explore one of the most spectacular canyons in the eastern U.S. Tallulah Gorge is two miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep. This park affords a variety of experiences hiking around the rim for incredible views and adventurous trek down into the gorge. Weather permitting we may even be able to swim and slide down some awesome natural water slides so come ready to get wet.

Join us at the Ramsey Student Center Climbing Wall and Gym East for a night of climbing!  Try Climb is an opportunity for you to try climbing at the wall.  The climbing wall staff will be there to help you with equipment and belay you while climbing.  No experience necessary.  Night Heights offers a climb up into the ceiling of Gym East on the indoor high ropes course.  Try the grapevine and swing elements and finish with the zip line.  This event is free to students and Ramsey members.

Start out this day of love with some self care and physical activity for yourself! We will move our bodies through some gentle stretches together outside as we watch the beautiful sunrise! Join the ORC for this high adrenaline hiking and climbing combo! We will hike a mile up Yonah Mountain to "the Lowers," a granite face with top-rope climbing perfect for beginners and intermediates. No experience is necessary to be successful on this trip, but participants should be prepared for a short, strenuous hike to and from the climbing site. Climbing routes will have a grade range of 5.5 - 5.11a, making it perfect for all levels.

Identified by Georgia DNR as one of the state’s “7 Wonders,” Providence Canyon is a network of gorges in Southwest Georgia created by the erosion of soft, multicolored soils that reveals millions of years of geologic history within its layers of sediments. Join us for an overnight backpacking trip that is sure to be unforgettable. All experience levels are welcome! You do not need prior backpacking experience to be successful on this trip.

Sand Rock is a beautiful craggy place on a bluff overlooking Lake Weiss in Alabama. We will be car camping and day hiking down trails to find the perfect climbs. Climbing routes range from challenging technical moves to smooth relaxed routes you can take your time on. At the top of each route you get to enjoy the best views north Alabama has to offer. Whether you are an experienced climber or first-timer, this is the trip for you!
